Is This Photography Workshop Right for You?
YES if:
You're a camera beginner who's stuck on auto and can't get the results you want.
You've tried reading the manual, but just can't get to grips with all that technical language.
And the same goes for all those YouTube rabbit holes!
You'd prefer to learn with others and have an expert right by your side to guide you when you get stuck.
You don't want to waste any more of your precious time trying to work this stuff out for yourself.
You'd love some expert feedback on your work.
NO if:
You're happy with the standard of your photography and know how the other camera controls work
You're looking for a workshop that specialises in a particular genre (e.g. wildlife, sport, fashion, street photography). All these things are fantastic to learn, but understanding your camera should always come first
You want to learn about Photoshop or Lightroom. There are lots of courses out there that cover post-production, but as I said above, camera mastery definitely comes first!
You want to learn how to use the video function on your camera
You're interested in flash or studio photography
