How Does Anna Saverimuttu Photography Collect Information About You?
Information about you is collected when you use this website, contact Anna Saverimuttu Photography in person, by phone, email, social media or text regarding products or services, receive a gift voucher for one of my workshops or a photo shoot or sign up to receive one of my email newsletters or other marketing via a signup form. The information collected is only used lawfully and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2018. The provision of any data by you will indicate that you explicitly consent to the processing of this information so that your enquiry can be dealt with promptly.
What Type of Information is Collected From You?
The personal information collected might include some or all of the following, depending on the service you are using:

Anna Saverimuttu Photography may retain the content of your email messages together with your email address and our subsequent replies, in order to maintain a record of photographic bookings or workshops bookings. This also applies when you sign up through any of my online forms using your email address or make a purchase on this website.

How you would like to be photographed
Purpose of photographs e.g. website, social media, personal use etc
Makeup and outfit preferences
Skin allergies.

Online Bookings/Purchases
If you purchase a service online, your card information is not held by Anna Saverimuttu Photography; it is collected by third party payment processors, PayPal or Stripe, whose privacy policies are available at https://www.paypal.com/ee/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-prev https://stripe.com/gb/privacy
In addition, this website uses an SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) connection. (URL’s that begin with “https” rather than “http” and show the padlock symbol indicate that SSL is used; this provides 3 important things – privacy, authentication and message integrity.) In an SSL connection each side of the connection must have a Security Certificate, which each side's software sends to the other. Each side then encrypts what it sends using information from both its own and the other side's Certificate, ensuring that only the intended recipient can de-crypt it, and that the other side can be sure the data came from the place it claims to have come from, and that the message has not been tampered with.
How is Your Information Used?
Anna Saverimuttu Photography only uses individuals’ or organisations’ data in ways they would reasonably expect. Data is never used in ways they would find intrusive or which could cause them harm.

Plan and carry out a photo shoot which you have booked
Inform a hair & makeup artist about your preferences for a portrait shoot.
Plan a photography workshop or 1-1 tutorial so that it covers those areas most relevant to you.

Send you my newsletter if you have signed up to receive it.
Carry out obligations arising from any contracts entered into by you and Anna Saverimuttu Photography.
Gain feedback on services or products provided to you.
Send you communications or updates that you have requested and that might be of interest to you.
If images from a photo shoot are used on the photographer’s websites, no additional information (e.g. full names, addresses etc) will accompany those images which could identify the subject. Images of headshot clients will only be used after the client has given their consent by signing a Model Release Form.
Anna Saverimuttu Photography does not obtain personally-identifying information about you when you visit the website, unless you choose to provide such information to us, and such information will never be sold or otherwise transferred to unaffiliated third parties.
How is Your Information Stored?
Once a photo shoot has been completed and you have received your images, all files are stored offline at the premises of Anna Saverimuttu Photography. Contact details and other personal information are also stored offline, except in the case of information in emails stored by email providers.
Retention periods for personal information are reviewed regularly, with a current default period of 7 years unless you advise otherwise, after which data may be destroyed. Generally your personal information will be held on my systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity. In the case of photographs, files are kept to ensure that should a client lose the original images they ordered, a backup copy can be supplied, unless you advise otherwise, and if a Model Release Form has been signed by you giving consent for your images to be used in the legitimate promotion of the business of Anna Saverimuttu Photography, images may continue to be used unless you advise otherwise. You have a right at any time to request access to any information held about you and to ask Anna Saverimuttu Photography to delete such information.
Who Has Access to Your Information?
Anna Saverimuttu Photography will never sell or rent your information to third parties. Neither will your information ever be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Only the photographer has access to your information, except in cases where a hair and makeup artist or stylist has been booked and needs to contact you separately.
Requesting Access to the Information Held About You
You are at any time entitled to request from Anna Saverimuttu Photography a copy of the information that is held about you. If this includes access to images that were taken of you during a photo shoot but not subsequently ordered by you, these will be supplied as low resolution files stamped with “PROOF”. There is no right of access to images that were taken of you during a photo shoot but subsequently deleted by Anna Saverimuttu Photography.
Your Choices
It is your choice as to whether you wish to receive information from Anna Saverimuttu Photography. Email newsletters are sent out only to those who have specifically opted in to receive such communication either after attending one of my workshops, via my websites, social media or in writing. Anna Saverimuttu Photography monitors newsletter usage through the newsletter software, MailerLite. Each newsletter contains a clear option to unsubscribe at any time.
Tracking pixels are used on this website to enable Google Adwords, Facebook and Google Analytics to provide anonymised reports of web pages visited by users.
CAN-SPAM Compliance
In compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act, all e-mail newsletters sent from Anna Saverimuttu Photography will clearly state who the e-mail is from and provide clear information on how to contact the sender, together with information on why the recipient is receiving the newsletter and an option to unsubscribe.
Choice/Opt-Out
Users who no longer wish to receive my newsletters or promotional materials may opt-out of receiving these communications by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the e-mail.
Comments Function in the Blog on the Website
www.annasaverimuttu.co.uk offers users the opportunity to leave individual comments on individual blog contributions on a blog, which is on the website of Anna Saverimuttu Photography.
If a user leaves a comment on the blog published on this website, the comments made by the user are also stored and published, as well as information on the date of the comment and on the screen name chosen by the user. In addition, the IP address assigned by the internet service provider (ISP) is logged for security reasons. This collected personal data will not be passed to third parties, unless such a transfer is required by law or serves the aim of the defence of Anna Saverimuttu Photography.

Non-sensitive details (your email address etc.) are transmitted normally over the internet, and can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
